Poway Key Club is a club dedicated to serving not only our local Poway community but also the world. By creating an environment where teenagers enjoy giving back to the community, we can make community service fun and fulfilling. Poway Key Club is a great way to meet new people and develop important skills like leadership and communication. The core values of Key Club International are leadership, character building, caring and inclusiveness.

Hi I'm Jensen, the vice president of key club and my goal for key club is to make many people participate and make people have a good time on key club. Also, my goal for being a historian/photographer is to make people more involved in charities and the club.

My Key Club moment was when I attended my first year of Fall Rally. Before Fall Rally, I was still unsure of a lot of things and I didn't have much knowledge or experience of Key Club or being a president. The moment I finally realized oh wow, I really love Key Club was at Fall Rally. I felt like I was a part of something and that I belonged somewhere. It helped me become closer to my members and friends. It was an experience I'll never forget.

My Key Club moment was at one of the DCMs. While we were playing team bonding games, I really felt the inclusion. It made me realize that this club was not only helping our community, but I could have plenty of fun while doing so. I've also made tons of new friends and it is overall something that I'm glad I joined.

When I realized I wanted to get more involved in Key Club: During freshman year, I went to a DCM even though I didn't know what a DCM was. There, I realized Key Club wasn't just a Poway thing and plenty of people were really welcoming.

I realized I wanted to become more involved when Elan asked me to do a video for Holiday with Heroes. I had a lot of fun filming the event and meeting new people and the possibility that I could be doing all that, but future events made me curious about the "photographer" position. I hope to see your smiles at the next event. Oh, don't forget to say cheese!
